The Story Behind Every Engraving
Groovy Cigars began with one idea: the gear a cigar lover keeps should feel made for him. Here is who we are and how we build gifts worth holding onto.
We grew out of the Groovy family of gift shops, where we spent years engraving groomsmen gifts and wedding-day keepsakes.
One pattern kept showing up. The best man carried a cigar case, the groom got a humidor, and the whole wedding party lit up together after the toasts. Cigar accessories were the gifts guys actually kept, the ones that stayed on the desk and in the travel bag for years. So we built a store devoted to them.
Today Groovy Cigars is a home for personalized cigar accessories: humidors, torch lighters, cutters, ashtrays, travel cases and complete gift sets, each one ready to carry his name.
We do not sell cigars themselves. We make everything around the ritual personal, so a good smoke comes with his name on it and a story behind it.
Engraved In-House, Checked by Hand
Personalization is not an afterthought here. Engraved pieces are personalized at our Connecticut workshop, where a real person sets up the laser, checks the spelling twice and inspects each piece before it goes in the box. That is why a gift from Groovy Cigars feels less like something bought and more like something made for him.

Chris Bajda
Chris is the entrepreneur behind the Groovy family of gift brands. He started in the wedding industry, saw how much a personalized gift could mean, and has been building stores around that idea ever since. He holds an Information Systems degree from the University of Vermont and still obsesses over every detail of how the shop runs.
Karen Bajda
Karen is the reason our reviews mention service so often. She reads every order note, chases down engraving questions before they become problems, and treats each gift like it is going to someone she loves. If you email us, odds are good Karen is the one making it right.
Tyler Carter
Tyler does a bit of everything: page design, product setup and the order flow. He is the one making sure the humidor you ordered on Tuesday is engraved, packed and on a truck without any drama.
